Wonderful article. Great perspectives and research. Sometimes I too get caught up in wanting to pretend things are okay, and we can get back to normal fast. I just recovered from Omicron... a mild case, but still. I don't want it again. My elderly and sick grandfather has somehow miraculously managed to evade this thing. But that won't last forever. I have to continue to do all I can to help him avoid suffering and dying terribly from covid. If we all just saw ourselves as caretakers of other people in that we should not put anyone indirectly in harm's way by our own actions, society could get through this.
