Walter, if Dr. King had taken the CSJT approach that you're advocating, he would've failed. The Right has it wrong on many, many, MANY issues, but at no point did King point his finger at white people and say you're all evil. You're all oppressors. You all need to change. You're all tainted with the original sin of slavery and thus no good. Step aside. Yield all power to Black folks. He didn't say that because it can't happen that way. It isn't rational... and King was, above all, rational. Do you have a job, Walter? Do you go to it everyday? And along the way, do you marginalize anyone? Do you actively try to victimize people? Did you even think of yourself that way before CSJT came along? Did you previously not pay attention to color but rather character... until lately? Is every black, gay and disable person you meet now a part of a victim group... or do you see them as individuals? (as I do). I hope you can realize that while you are, for the most part, shouting into the void (and preaching to the choir, since you block people you disagree with), you are just one person who's part of a much, much larger system. Lamenting the color of your skin or anyone else's will solve nothing. Pick a cause that betters the world (climate change comes to mind, since it affects all people of color here) and fight for it with science and rationality. If it's the legal system, then choose an issue and fight with everything that science and research has and make your case. And make it to THEM, the damn Righties, who are reflexively arguing back everything at you. Be persuasive, not remorseful. Be ASSERTIVE and TAKE NO PRISONERS. Don't feel sorry for yourself. You're a good guy, man. FIGHT!
