This is a great article and perspective you shared. I'm a Gen-X liberal (maybe a contradiction in terms?) and I'm so tired of the younger (white) generation taking on the mantle of judge, jury and executioner of political correctness (woke as it's now called). In addition to supporting those causes you mentioned at the end, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and make the world a better place. But you know who's volunteering less and less, in organizations like AmeriCorp (where my brother is a regional coordinator)? Gen Z.
So, yeah, sit on your keyboard and judge others who you deem are culturally appropriating, but if you're not actively working to help people instead of going after folks and canceling them, you're not a part of the solution but rather a useful tool for your elite overlords.
