Think about the articles though we write for Medium. How short we need to keep our paragraphs, how simple the sentence structure. I read your post in about twenty seconds. We are writing for mindless scrolling, sadly, and in doing so we don't have time to fully develop arguments. Just the way it is. It's why, as a teacher, I laugh heartily at any reformer that things cell phone technology or really any technology is going to revolutionize public education. Oh it will, all right. It'll throw it right into the dust bin of history. Because kids don't want to learn with tech; they just want to play. Mindlessly.
