The promise of all this technology is going to go unfulfilled. Whatever the promise is, kids will cleverly find a way to use it as minimally as possible to get maximum advantage. It's the way of the student. And normal schooling is not a plague. You forget like a lot do that there are numerous "soft" skills that are taught indirectly by being in a classroom community, not the least of which is learning how to curb ones impulses when you're around others. Not the point of the article obviously, I'm just saying. The introduction of more and more disruptive tech is just disrupting. It's never helped anyone read better, write better, compute better, or think better. To all tech CEOs I say: go make your bank off somebody else!
