The history of Canaan is the history of Jews, Muslims and Christians. They all once lived there and they all claim religious affinity for the area. They should all be able to live there peacefully. Just because Israel is progressive and that offends the dark age mentality of some Palestinian extremists (not most Palestinians, I would wager), doesn't mean that Jews should remain the region's punching bag. Hell, they've been the world's punching bag for centuries. If I were Jewish, man, and my people lived through the Holocaust, I'd say bring it on, Palestine.
