The Dems are generally a more educated electorate than the GOP. We understand that collaboration tends to get more done faster. But the Republicans have no interest, as you say, so why aren't we constantly badgering and berating them like they do us? Fight fire with fire. Pull out all the stops, get rid of the filibuster, and pass everything with simple majority. Who cares how the GOP feels? Or their base?
