Public education could meet this problem head on, but unfortunately it won't because it can't. Education lacks enough leaders with know-how and commitment to truth to make it happen. Instead, we'll just grind kids through the system and cater to the whims of the worst parents who make the most noise. I say this as a teacher who frustratingly sees nothing changing in American public education for the better.
