I agree with you that guys like us can't be woke. That's fine... until recently I've just ignored the whole critical social justice theory thing. Then I've read about it from several sources and I'm worried. Worried this thing is going to spread in our society until it gets to the point where we can't communicate anymore. I'm a liberal progressive Democrat, and believe the intersectionalism of all these far Left academic theories should not be spilling out of the college classroom. Too late for that, I guess. It's a cynical postmodernist philosophy with no core value or purpose except to criticize white men (mainly) and the alleged harm they're doing to society by living. It's bad psychology at best. At worse, it ignores hundreds of years of cultural advancement that liberalism has given us.
