Great article. As a special ed teacher who often words with children on the spectrum, I am always looking for refreshers and new ideas for how to help them. Thanks for this description of incidental teacher. How do you see this working in, say, a general classroom during math or writing times? I am think of a student I've worked with in the past in this setting. It's difficult in such a controlled setting to have many spontaneous moments where incidental, student-led learning can occur. How do you suggest I create such an environment for subjects like math, reading and writing? Thanks!
