Good points all around. It's discomfiting to say the least when authority cracks down too hard on peaceful protesters. But it's crossed the line into absurdity that those who claim to be social justice advocates would be afraid of other view points. The weakening of the American mind, both on the Left and Right, to accept differing opinions does not bode well for society. The Us vs. Them duality is in opposition to American values in the Constitution. I hope the "othering" happening these days fades away quickly, but I doubt it will.
