Good answer. That is EXACTLY what happened and continues to happen, which is why I've made up my mind to leave this job and go to work for another school. There is zero follow up to the over three dozen incidents in the past four weeks that we've documented. We've had two team meetings and an aide is on the way. I've never been trained in TCI. I asked once but was ignored; I thought that was normal that only certain sped teachers get trained in crisis prevention. Our school lets us call for support and then someone with a walkie talkie comes and takes the kids for a little while and brings them back when they're reasonably calm. Wash, rinse, repeat. What... that's not how it's supposed to work? 🙄
