Bullshit. Real practicing teacher here. No one is getting indoctrinated. What it is is that education is a business and, with so much money involved, there must be a reportable system that the public can understand. Depending on the school, some teachers have no autonomy, some have little, some have a lot, like I do. But ALL schools give standardized testing for public accountability. There is no nefarious controversy. However, there are plenty of little problems that snowball into big ones that can kneecap your school of your not careful.
