Another great piece. I almost have to laugh at the thought of what ancient Roman rulers, philosophers, and elites would've thought of our own Donald J. Trump. Not only is he an intellectual simpleton, but he does and says basically the opposite of what someone should who is seeking power. And his people love him for it. Bread and circuses, I guess. Has there ever been a leader, a ruler, or anything of the sort in antiquity who reminds you of Trump?
