All these men making excuses for not going to church. Guarantee the main reason most men don't want to go to church has little to do with their minds being hijacked by a preacher's teaching (is your brain really that soft?) and more to do with why they don't like going to parties. Mingling with potentially unlike-minded people feels like work. Better to isolate yourself. I say this as an introvert myself. I didn't stop going to church out of fear of being brainwashed; it just felt like a lot of work to be on my best behavior for strangers. Of course, now that I'm older and a father to boot, I see the importance of community, interacting, helping others, and basically not being a self-absorbed twit. You don't need church to be an active member of your community, but a church does provide a lot of opportunities.
