Agree 100%. And I'm of the mind that nothing much changes either if teachers don't speak up to the powers that be. My colleagues agree with me, but they think I'm funny and they won't add their voice to mine lest they get in some kind of trouble. So now my rep is a squeaky wheel who's views are "out there" and out of touch. I'm tenured, so fuck 'em. I just wish other tenured teachers had the same attitude.
